The School for Continuing Education, Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) is responsible for delivering pedagogically sound language materials over the Internet to DoD linguists in the field. Currently, the instructional materials targets linguists who have graduated the DLIFLC or equivalent and desire to maintain and improve their language ability.  While these materials DO NOT represent fully developed courses of instruction, they demonstrate the types of language-learning activities that are deliverable online and will help you to maintain and/or improve your language proficiency.  Our team of Web developers greatly values comments and suggestions and will review any recommendations to improve the online instructional materials.

The Objectives of the Evaluation:

  • To determine the effectiveness of the materials,

  • To evaluate accessibility by linguists in the field -- both CONUS and overseas.

  • To identify specific strengths and weaknesses (technical and methodological) in these instructional materials.
